Educational Technology Coordinator

Responsible for the planning and implementation of a wide range of educational software and hardware in the K-8 classroom setting.

This position also involves day to day help desk support, co-teaching hands-on lessons in the classroom, and professional development / technical training for teachers and administrative staff

Overseer of major implementations of portable devices, specifically Chromebooks, iPads, and Windows Tablets.

Social Studies Teacher

In addition to my teaching duties as the middle school Social Studies Teacher, I spent my time at RMS helping other staff members to integrate technology into class lessons whenever possible. My classroom was among the first in the school to integrate Smartboards, Personal Response Remotes, Laptop Cart, LCD Projector, and other educational technology. A class website kept students and parents up to date on all class assignments and activities. This later grew into a homework hub for every teacher on staff. Moodle was also used as a Course Management System to create an online learning community for students.
